⁵⁷ But crying out with a loud voice, they covered their ears and rushed at him with one accord. ⁵⁸ And when they had ^(A)driven him out of the city, they began stoning him; and ^(B)the witnesses ^(C)laid aside their garments at the feet of ^(D)a young man named Saul. ⁵⁹ They went on stoning Stephen as he ^(E)was calling out and saying, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”
